HASSLER'S RV STORAGE

Our journey began in 1993 with Hassler’s Autobody, and a whole lot of family teamwork. In the early days, getting the business off the ground took sacrifice and dedication from everyone. Darryl’s wife, Joyce, made the selfless move to relocate her beauty shop from Toledo right into their home, freeing up the space and resources to launch the shop. As Darryl puts it, “She supported me as I was getting started.”

By 2000, our passion for keeping Lewis County moving led us to cut a dedicated door in the back of the autobody shop to start taking on RV repairs. As our work expanded, we purchased 2.5 acres directly behind the shop and cleared the ground. While we didn't have an exact blueprint on day one, we knew our community needed a reliable, secure place to store their recreational vehicles.

In 2006, plans officially got underway for an 80’ x 126’ steel storage building featuring 18 bay doors, measuring 12' x 14' each. Because Darryl was busy running the day-to-day body shop, trusted builder and lifelong friend Jerry Lewis took the helm of the project, joined by good friends Herold Dills and Glenn Rakoz to handle construction. Long evenings and weekends were spent working side-by-side with dedicated shop employees who stayed late after closing to see this project to completion. By 2008, the doors were officially open.

We expanded again in 2017 to add heated 11’ x 28’ units equipped with drive-through doors on both sides for effortless access.

Through every expansion, our heart remains the same: homegrown, Lewis County locals who take pride in treating our neighbors like family. There’s truly nothing better than watching our customers hitch up, roll out of our gates, and head off to the lake or their next big adventure.
